ABOUT CLINT LUTES (BFA Dance NYU Tisch) As a performer he worked with Joy Kellmann, Johannes Wieland, Eun Me Ahn, Brian Brooks Moving Company... His choreo-graphic work, based on physical communication and social gesturing has been presented in Europe, USA, Australia, South Korea, Singapore and in Egypt. He created work with pvc Tanz Freiburg/Heidelberg, Cie Grenade, Festspielhaus Sankt Poelten, POSTTHEATER Berlin/NY/Tokyo, Collectif Coin as well as with figure skating champion Katarina Witt, and with the Chamaeleon Theater in Berlin. He co-founded LUCKY TRIMMER Tanz Performance Serie in Berlin and co-directed it from 2003-2010. He co-founded and co-directs the workshop series Manoeuvres in Grenoble, France. In 2015 he worked on Störung/Hafraah, a collaborative research project with dance/science/philosophy and Parkinson’s Disease at its core, and continues this research today under the heading of Danse Pour Parkinson in France. 2016-2018 he participates in ICI, a scientific and artistic research project studying improvisation and cognition. This year, Clint was artistic coordinator for the amateur project 1:59, in collaboration with Paris Quartier d’Eté and Eun Me Ahn. He has taught at ImPulsTanz, CND Paris/Lyon, Sasha Waltz & Guests, K3 Hamburg, Tanzhaus Zurich, Australian Dance Theater, Cal. St. University Fullerton, New York University and elsewhere.
