Anja Müller, Dennis Deter and Jochen Haker will continue their research into performance that integrates original sound, movement and text. As a part of their residency, Müller will perform her solo: La Mula -- a Beatmusical, in which Müller takes on the persona of the bold character LA MULA and thinks aloud about poverty as an artistic life principle, forced and desired entertainment and the everyday hunt for poetry and prestige.
The acclaimed duo, Deter & Müller have created dynamic performances across Europe as Deter & Müller (La Mula, Visionin, Misfit) or in collaborations with other artists (memoir I am, Undead & Delicious, Frucht und Schrecken, What Doesn't Work, John the Houseband). Additionally, Dennis Deter regularly devises and directs performance projects around Germany, Belgium and Holland and Anja Müller performs internationally with Meg Stuart / Damaged Goods in pieces such as Do Animals Cry and Built to Last. They live and work in Berlin, Germany. http://www.determueller.com/
